The day began with wedding preparations at Hilton Cardiff, the couple got ready together, beforeheading to Cardiff City Hall for their intimate ceremony. There was so much personality to this Cardiff City Hall wedding, and it was so much fun to photograph.
Before the ceremony, we headed over to the museum steps for some portraits, making the most of the shelter from the Welsh rain. The bright bold colours look great against the plain walls, which give them extra pop. Then it was off to Revolución de Cuba for drinks and food. The bar’s colourful, Latin-inspired interior was a brilliant match for the couple’s style. There’s so much to love here, small weddings are great, there’s something special about keeping things simple, doing things your own way. As a photographer it really lets you focus on the most important things, family, friends and love.
