James & Nia’s Wedding at Coed Hills
James and Nia’s wedding at Coed Hills, a relaxed rural arts venue near Cardiff, was my second time photographing a wedding there (here’s the first). Coed Hills, has a very laid back, informal nature, which really fits with my style of Photography. I’ve known James and his family for many years, so it was particularly lovely to capture their day.. When I first meet couples they often ask me what I do if it rains on the wedding day.I always say, you just can’t worry about things that you can’t control. And, if it does happen just keep smiling and make the best of it. And, that’s exactly what James and Nia did. As the couple exited the ceremony, the smile on Nia’s face as she sprinted through the rain while James tried to keep up with a brolly was something i wont forget in a hurry. Luckily, the rain had passed after the speeches and we were able to get some great portraits. I loved every minute of this day.
